July 10 The Honorable Jean Harrison Clements, Judge of the Court of
Appeals of Virginia will reminisce on a life in the law as trial lawyer,
juvenile court judge, circuit court judge (all in Loudoun County)
and as one of the first female judges on an appellate court in VA.
July 17 George Thompson, President of Virginia Chapter, American
Chestnut Foundation will inform us of a new blight-free chestnut
tree developed to replace what at one time was the most popular
hardwood tree in North America, all but destroyed by blight.
July 24 (sponsor Gisela Bresler) Leslie ______ will speak to us about
the Jury duty and procedure here in Loudoun County - one of
the most important civic duties we share.
July 31 Cate Magennis Wyatt, Executive Director of "Journey Through
Hallowed Ground," a partnership to preserve the rich history of
the area from Monticello to Gettysburg.
