During a special dinner event, the Rotary Club of Leesburg donated proceeds to beneficiaries of the 18th Annual REHAU Rotary Resolution Race. Five local charities were recipients:
ARC of Loudoun (www.paxtoncampus.org/the-arc-of-loudoun)
ECHO Works (www.echoworks.org)
The Loudoun Abused Women's Shelter (www.lcsj.org)
Backpack Buddies Foundation of Loudoun (www.facebook.com/backpackbuddiesfoundationofloudoun)

The club honored sponsors, including long-time partner REHAU, who helped make it possible. The club and guests celebrated the continued success that has resulted in $300,000 of contributions since the first race.
The longest running New Year's Race in Northern Virginia has many faithful volunteers and runners. Race chairs Carole and Chuck Maloney gave special recognition to one of the volunteers, Darrell Hollowell, for his dedicated service at the water station each year.
Please mark your calendars for the 19th annual race on January 1, 2016.
