On July 7, 2016, the Rotary Club of Leesburg welcomed Stilson Greene who talked about the "Art of the Political Cartoon". This rare opportunity to hear from a real Loudoun County institution was entertaining and informative.

Mr. Greene started his graphic design/illustration studio in Historic Leesburg in 1980. He is a founding member of the Loudoun Art Academy where he taught drawing and Studio Art. He has been an instructor at the Northern Virginia Community College and has been an award winning editorial cartoonist for the Loudoun Times Mirror, Leesburg Today, and Loudoun Now. He is the creator of Acoustic on the Green and the Jingle Jam Christmas concert for charity. He received the 2015 George Marshall Award for exemplary commitment to the community.
